It wouldn't be a Exhaust rattle would it?
when i first got my NA6 at 2000rpm it buzzed pretty loudly.. Turned out to be a loose heat shield..
Had it tacked back in place noise gone for good..
Also my alternator bolt was lose creating a rattle at the same rpm.

It would be nice to know which model.
NAs had two minor things wrong with them - plug leads and exhaust heat shields. The shields would get loose and make a lovely zinging noise at a certain revs.

Hmm I'm getting that sound as well, at certain rpm, It's usually more distinct when I'm in 4th but at low revs.

Mine was the one just before the cat on the downpipe. It just got it tacked on, some guys just put a metal clamp on it.

exhaust heat shielding or clutch - if you have an aftermarket heavy duty clutch it may rattle with the 1.6 motors

mine rattles.
i've got lock stewart extractors, stock car & sports exhaust from the cat back.
ever since i installed it i've had the rattle, removed all heat shields & replaced the muffler
after all that i've reduced the noise to 2600-2800 rpm & it generally doesnt do it in 1st gear
i sware its the extractors. its definatelly not hit / rattling on anything. its just their....
so, i wouldnt worry to much. unless you want to go back to a stock system
