so i got in the car this morning and started driving, the peddal felt a bit crappy but i ignored it.
got about 200m down the road and had no peddal at all... i had to drive home pulling the cable & steering while my g/f was changing gears & looking out for cars!

35 minutes to pull it out and still waiting for a replacement part, but here is what i've got so far!

*** warning, after a bit of research, apparently this can be a very common problem, so please everyone inspect their cars asap.

Geez louise, I hope it's a flaw in design/metalurgy in NA6/Eunos Roadsters and not NA8s.

Mine has just died as well. Hoping to have it fixed by Winton this weekend. I'm gutted. It was just hanging there when I got in. :(

i think it's just coincidence but not the cause, well not for this car anyway. When we looked at the part we noticed that the profile of the split was exactly the same as this post http://www.mx5oc.co.uk/forum/forums/t/342.aspx What we also noticed was that it split on the edge of the spot weld.
