So, yesterday took it for a little run up the OPH ... (berowra to gosford) and if i took the revs over about 6kish, the next gear change would just 'die'

I was thinking i had just received a bad batch of fuel and my filter was clogged ....

lifted the bonnet this morning and saw the Throttle Position Sensor lead sitting about an inch away from the TPS !

So, would that explain my symptoms ??

Anyway, picked up new fuel/air and oil filters and will give it a full service tonight !

Cheers
J

Disconnecting the TPS stops the fuel pump in NB models and obviously stops sending the required ignition signals to the ECU. That will cause problems......
