hey guys, recently the friction point of my car has moved up to the extent that there is no deadzone. I think i need to adjust the clutch cable so that the friction point moves down a little. How can i do this?

cheers

The clutch is hydraulic, there is no cable.

Sounds like your slave cylinder is dead, quite an easy fix, ~15 minutes to replace with a new one ($50 ish)

i've read that if it is leaking, it should leak clutch fluid. I just topped up my reservoir, so i guess if it is leaking the reservoir should drop yes?

or, if i do need one, where can i get one for NB8B?

Stevesports my recollection was that there is free play adjustment under the dash- you must have some lash in the set up. The slave cylinder is simply a hydraulic pump with no adjustment that I am aware of. I do recall reading somewhere about the adjustment technique for the 5 - suggest have a look at Miata site.
