hmm, really? I thought it was an easy swap, but I could of course be wrong Worth the investigation though, plus, if doing a fly wheel swap, best to do the clutch while you're in there!

yep, you're wrong . but i agree with you, it's a good idea to do the clutch at the same time. and if i had a 1.8, i would put a lightweight 1.6 fly and nb6 clutch on it for sure, as recommended by richard at mx5 plus. or some other aftermarket 1.6 clutch such as an exedy etc
