...or you could just put an NA6 flywheel in... Couple of kgs lighter, and probably cheaper and easier to get than an off the shelf lightened one. MX5Plus in Brisbane would likely have one suitable.

but then he would have to change to an na6 clutch as well.

hmm, really? I thought it was an easy swap, but I could of course be wrong :lol: Worth the investigation though, plus, if doing a fly wheel swap, best to do the clutch while you're in there! :P :D

yep, you're wrong :o . but i agree with you, it's a good idea to do the clutch at the same time. and if i had a 1.8, i would put a lightweight 1.6 fly and nb6 clutch on it for sure, as recommended by richard at mx5 plus. or some other aftermarket 1.6 clutch such as an exedy etc
