oil pressure sender socket size?

anyone know the size for the damn oil pressure sender?
i have tryed 22mm, 28 and 34mm none work (well the 28 and 34 are intertwined but the 34 doesnt reach the bolt)
i really want my oil pressure gauge to work, i finally hooked up the water temp.

22mm, but you will need a deep socket to get to the bolt.
btw, when it comes to removing the stock sender, socket extensions are your friend.

are you sure? my 22mm is deep socket but the bolt was bigger then the socket
my car is NB btw, i have the "idiot" oil pressure gauge.

22mm is the figure i found on a website when trying to get the idiot sender off my NA8.
i actually used an imperial 6 point socket. it was either 13/16" or 15/16".

i found that off miata.net i think too, they stated a 22mm and 29mm socket. mmm i need to measure it somehow

measure it with a vernier or calipers if you can get to it.
