I installed a PWR rad today...

I've been having over heating issues on the track recently due to the hot weather I experience stumbling loss of power, I turn the heater on to expell some heat very uncomfortable on the track etc etc.

I got a PWR rad and I finished installing it today, just some notes if anyone is thinking of getting one now that summer is here.
Fits into the car kinda, I had to bend the metal hooks that hold the rad in place at the top (otherwise it will rattle a bit).
Both fans need to be cut and trimmed around the edges so that it can fit flush to the rad. (Weight reduction, was happy to do it)
Holes to bolt the fans on were a bit off. On the (AC fan) you will need to drill some new holes and or make some of the existing holes larger.
On the other fan you will need to make one or both of the holes slighly larger.
It now takes 6.5 L of liquids in total (a bit more weight), the PWR weighs about 2 kg more than OEM so maybe ~3.5 kg of added weight in total
It looks like there is plenty of room for thicker sway bar...

If you go to the factory, and ask nicely, they will put the holes in the correct spot for you

How about if you ask nicely before you purchase one, will they put the holes in the correct spot?

Actually I'm surprised that they'd know where to put them after all this time.

I had to take down my old radiator to show them.

They denied knowing anything about incorrect fitment. Said no-one has ever complained

So either they are still selling old stock, or they just don't care

Why would you pay top dollar for something you have to do that much work on. I would put it back in the box and take it back for a refund.

I've fitted 2 of the mania ones recently and both have fit no problem...no mods required at all.
