Hey all,

Been looking into a full exhaust and would like to go the maxim works.
While looking through a whole lot of webpages alot of japanese sites state
autoexe (maxim works) ...
This leads me to my questions are they the same i.e. did autoexe buy out maximworks?

Any light shed on this is much appreciated.

Cheers Paul

Maximworks and Autoexe would be a rebadge= the same

ie/ Autoexe Carbon fibre intake box is a rebadged GruppeM intake

fujitsubo dont make anything for the nb's and have discontinued their na systems a long time ago, good luck finding one (not that you need to worry as you drive an nb) dont pass up on racing beat headers, half the price of the autoexe ones and probably just as good.

GruppeM use K&N airfilters in their intakes- yes.

But if you have seen GruppeM intakes, they are all CF [From Ferrari to BMW to Mazda], K&N don't make any CF boxes- they supply them the filtration. I assume that is just a sticker for decoration/bling.

note they are ALL CF boxes- regardless of car

Does anyone run racingbeat headers?
Because ideally I would like to run the same brand from engine to tip...
maximum R&D from the vendor but little necassary from me!

racingbeat headers are hard to source in australia, best to look overseas or if you wanna save yourself the headache, get mania to bring it in for you.

why do you want to change your headers oongie? the factory nb8b headers is said to be already well developed. unless you are chasing every single ounce of kilowatt from your car..

also note the difference between the maximworks 4-2-1 and RB 4-1. it's been documented on here the difference in range.

I too have heard that the NB8B 4-2-1 headers are good.
But if I am going a full exhaust system I would like to go the full system (headers included) of the same brand, reason being the system is optimised with the full package not bits and pieces...
unless there is an exhaust system based around the OEM headers.

Everyone rants about the Loch Stewarts but in QLD...
Maybe a reason to go for a long drive from Sydney. LOL
