engine number location

just need some help locating the engine number on an NB8B.
tried searching but to no avail.
point me in the right direction please.

Rear of block on passenger's side. There is a small flat deck and it's very hard to read the number. You need a bright light.

are the digits indented into the block or do they pop out.?
i found the popping out digits, but it only has 6 dgits as opposed to the rego paper which has 8 digits.

Indented - but very lightly. It is very difficult to read without a very bright light.
This is where it was on the NA8.
