Can you please be more specific regarding the shaking.
Where do you think it's coming from?
Is it fast shaking, or slow?
Is it making any unusual sounds?
How many kilometres has your car done?
etc.

still doesnt give much to go by.
maybe get someone from this forum to meet you and go for a drive together.
At 94,000km no \"bad\" shaking should be going on.

There's a clue. Loose or stuffed plug lead

My car was running on 3 cylinders for a brief period of time and the shaking was not bad at all and would not have been noticed by anyone else.
perhaps the base-timing is way-off? ie, too retarded.
If JBT is right, have you noticed any difference/lack of power when you are driving?

Join your local MX-5 club, there's probably a few people there who can help you narrow down the problem.
Update your profile so we can point you in the right direction of the appropriate clubs or workshops.

beabea- take it back to the repair shop that serviced it and get them to check it out. If you are not technically minded you might take offence at being told your ignition might be retarded......

I'm thinking it's just the idle problems some NB8A's have experienced, slight droop when coming to a stop
Lots of possible fixes out there, I haven't tried any yet because mine is quite small and not too noticeable and even then it only happens when cold and about 1 in every 10 trips

my car has started doing this again, i think (in my case) that the spark plugs are getting covered in oil (anyone have any ideas on that, need a new head gasket maybe?) and it they leads are getting covered, i noticed this when i changed the leads over. once changed it stopped doing this for a few days.

Why a new radiator? If it's just the water pump, get that done as part of the 100K service and be on your way...
