Does NB8A and NB8B have the same exhaust system?

As per the subject looking to buy MXHEVN's 2.25\" exhaust but just need to know if the NB8B and NB8A have similar exhaust mountings?

i'm pretty sure it does, i cant see why it doesnt because i remember when i went to purchase a stock mid pipe and they couldnt tell the diffrence, but with the nb8a the cat is further up or something like that, i cant really remember but something was switched, or further down, exhaust hangers are the same.

Exhaust mountings are the same but not the whole exhaust system.
NB8B has turbular upper manifold & the cat is located on the secondary headers.
NB8A has cast iron manifold with the cat located on the mid pipe.

So would that mean to install a system from a NB8A would be a PITA?

yes, another difference is the 5speed and 6speed box. the exhausts are not interchangable between these cars in most cases.

Maybe in the US that's true but not here...

Now I'm confused
Looking at an exhaust system for 02 NB8B and MXHEVN's selling one for NB8A at a decent price...
but, me not being technical at all...
