Hi Guys,
I have 1994 Na 1.8 and I am deciding wheather to put in 3a racing pod filter that I have.
Unfortunatley I know very little about them.
Car is here

I have read some test results on pod filters a little while ago and this one was the clear winner.
I think that this is a dry filter, can anyone confirm?
The box says nothing.
Is it worth putting this filter on or are pod filters just a bit of bling?
I am not expecting a large performance boost.
Keep in mind that the car has stock exhaust, so is this worth it?
thanks everyone.

Get the urethane filters (dry type).
The one i have is a DR/FT one from autobarn.
A pod filter will generally not provide any performance gain, other than a nice sound on a stock NA engine. Generally the biggest restriction in airflow isn't the filter, but rather the design of the intake tract. If you are looking for performance gains, i would look to reducing the resistance between the intake pickup point to the throttle body.
