Unplugging ignitor on NB

Hi Guys wheres the ignitor plug on an ignitor coil pack. We are wanting to
crank the engine without any ignition, in order to pump oil through newly
installed turbo. Any ideas, help, tips appreciated.

BUMP! Come on guys, who knows?
I know Neil D did this for my NA6 when we did a compression test. I couldn't help Ron with the NB8A though.
How is everything else Ron?

i think on NA6 if you uplugged the crank angle sensor , you can crank the engine without firing. maybe you can do a similar trick on the nb with the cam angle sensor ?
i would wait for someone else to back me up on this i would hate for something to go wrong

Couldn't you just plug the coils at the back or pull the leads off the plugs?

I've heard this fecks the coil pack. It might have been misinformation or a myth...

Hi Boags:
The time is 811pm and Andrew and my son are still working on the car.
Still no word from Andrew ( moderator ) re info to crank over the engine,
but thats Ok as we still have some way to go.

Again, I've heard this fries the coil packs. I'd rather not recommend it just in case.

What are they working on Ron? Are the manifold and coolant lines in place?

I found a plug that looks like the same igniter plug on an NA, but it's too far away (approx 12cm, sitting at the back-end of the intake plenum) from the coil-pack for my liking.
Fatty's idea might work, anyone please confirm?
Can someone also confirm if unplugging the plugs on the back of each of the two coil packs is ok for what we are trying to achieve?

Fatty is correct.
Also, if you want to unplug the ignitor on an NA6, it's on the driver's side front shock tower, labelled \"Mitsubishi Power TR\".

Hi Boags:
Manifold and coolant lines are in place. My son and his mechanic friend Papu are coming over today to finish off the install.
Only thing I am concerned about is the closeness of the coolant hose that
sits beneath the turbo. Gotta figure away to get some clearance there.
