Hydra Nenemis installation?

Hi Guys,
I'm about to install Hydra nemesis ECU on my NB8B.
The harness is pretty straight forward, and the MAP sensor pick up is from the 'nipple' on top of the intake manifold.
Other than that, is there anything that I should worry about?...Do I need to disconnect the battery for precaution?
Cheers.

If you bought it from Flyin Miata ask them, Keith is really good with support.
I think Rod is the only other person I know who's done the hydra.

AB7, non-turbo MX-5? Did the Hydra come pre-loaded with the base map, as from my knowledge it is a standalone ECU yes?

Yep mine is non turbo. Hydra is standalone ECU, they can handle SE or SP as well. Quite a lot of people are using it for their Miata MSM in US.

Yes they are number being used by MSM users, whether they have issues or not is questionable. Has hydra set up shop in aus to offer support? I ask because when i enquired about it there was no local support or intention of it.
