Just installing a avo kit, the front of the compressor housing is rubbing against the hose, will this be a problem? Or do i need to re-route the hose to the radaitor?
and how can you do up the 3 lower nuts on the manifold? Very hard to get too! looks like i require some special tools that have been shaped of cut down to fit?

You answered your own questions. :D

You have to re-route the hose and you need to buy some sacrificial spanners.

okay, so can some one enlighten me on what i should be doing with the 14mm spanner? cut it in half and cut half the ring off? or slim down the open end of the spanner?

Those 3 bolts are driving me crazy 12.30am! Damm good friday, no shops will be open till saturday :*(

Yeah sacrifical spanner tricks work wonders.

As for the hose, get a Hyundai excel X3 (96-01) lower radiator hose.

You may have to trim about 2cm of the radiator end (can't remember) then exhaust wrap that baby. Or keep a spare in the boot.

I have an idea for that lower neck re-route, but I need a spare one so i can take some measurements off it.

Would anyone have any kicking around for cheap? (actually, i might be able to take the measurements straight off an old water pump)

i cut it in half then slimmed down the open end with an angle grinder. those nuts are a total bitch to get to eh.

dont cut the half ring off !!!! you will loose all strenght, i got one of my trusty sidchrome spanners & ground the ring down untill it was about the same thickness of the rest of the spanner, then you wont have any problems, ...

if your in the west of Melbourne & need a hand or the spanner let me know as i recently put my avo kit in. if you need some guidence go to the asian avo website (not the aust one) & there is step by step instructions on how to correctly fit it..... I would advise you read it BEFORE you have to pull it all appart & start again due to studs being to long & stuff like that !!!!
