im doing a full conversion 1.8 motor, driveshaft and diff into my 1.6. just want to know if i buy brakes and suspension for the 1.6 will i still be able to keep them as bolts on mods with the 1.8 diff?

put simply will i need to change the suspension or brakes when i put on the 1.8 diff and driveshaft?

they are all seperate parts, no dramas at all. i had 1.6 brakes with a 1.8 diff until recently. suspension is the same na6 or na8. no difference at all.

oh the only thing you didn't mention is halfshafts - you need to change them as well when you put the 1.8 diff and driveshaft in.

Yeah they only thing you change for a 1.6 to 1.8 diff conversion is
- Tailshaft
- Diff & Diff housing
- CV shafts

Everything else stays the same.

just another question...when i pop in the 1.8 bp motor what parts will i need to change apart from the motor itself?

looking at buying brake cylinders, clutch master and slave, radiator, small parts like that etc.

what parts will i need to upgrade from my 1.6 to 1.8?
