The lovely mania CAI was already fitted to my car when I bought it, so I have no idea what it looks like inside.
Does it require cleaning? If so, does anyone have any instructions?

take it off the air flow meter, undo the three (either alan key or screws) on the bottom of the filter part.

slide out the filter, buy a K&N recharge kit for about $30 and follows instructiions on box.

kit will last about 20 cleans i found.
