Very tastey install.

I hope Mazda are taking notes. Are there any bits in the way to stop it fitting on an AUS delivered car?

I reckon it will be easier on rhd. Since NC intake is on passenger side and Cosworth design is coldside.

Nope...

or Rotrex

Bottom one looks more like a vortech, but I guess 16bit can confirm or deny. A vortech wouldn't be much good but better than a CAI I guess

. The Rotrex would be lots better, all the NB dyno charts I have seen have been good . The hotside roots will allow for a bigger more conventional intercooler as usual. Take it from me though, a coldside roots setup is a great smooth drive. Throttle response is immediate. With a small IC it would be a very nice device -though OT for me on my NB the FFS e-cool setup works very well in stopping ping. I will be going fron 10.8 - 13.9 psi after the pulley change. Plenty have done it without a problem.
If this or an FFS kit came to fruition I would consider an NC, but keep the current toy for the track (sorry Marcus it won't ever be for sale

)

What's disturbing is that you knew I'd look in this thread

I don't intend on buying yours anyway. Of course I'd have to build up my own one. It'd be cheating if I just bought yours

That being said, 20AE anyone?

They are aiming for 5-6PSI and 220-240hp with CARB approval. Apparently the S/C is good for up to 300HP. I'm not sure if the engine can take that much though.

The MP62 can generate a bit over 20psi max boost on a 1.8, probably a little bit less on a 2.0 due to more volume to fill. The biggest limiter is compression. Mazda's site says 10.8 to 1 comp - therefore boost is the engines natural enemy! You might be able to have up to 9-10 psi alright I guess..
