hey all. I'm looking at making a custom airbox for a pod filter, now i found a picture of one that looks easier than fabricating one from sheet aluminium. Attached is the picture.



anyone know where i can obtain this material? It seems like a thick sort of matting around 0.5cm thick lined with aluminium. Also anyone know how much would a 50 sq cm sheet would cost?

I know this not an answer to your question, but why not look at using this stuff?

that is a foam with a heat reflective aluminum outer to it. you can get it from clark rubber. but the other stuff from the above post would be easier to work with as you would not need to make a supportive structure. I have just made a fibreglass air box that I plan to cover with it.

yeah essentially i'm after heat shielding material. I was hoping i can get this stuff for like $10-15.
