high impedence.

the link isn't the standard ecu for the avo kit , is it.

if the link can control the 4 injectors then yeah, i would just get bigger injectors and ditch the 5th one.

i am also using an avo kit, (just the hardware, not using their electronics, so i just removed the 5th injector). in my case, i replaced the standard injectors with 460cc ones, and they are controlled by a DFA.

i'm a little confused as to why you're running a link as well as the avo ecu ... i can't figure out how that would work.

maybe the 5th injector is not operational, it's just left in there to plug up the hole . that'd be a lot easier than making a blanking plate, which is what i did.

are you sure you are still running the standard injectors??!? you could already have upgraded ones??

Yes, AVO do sell link ECUs. Having said that there are various Link ECUs. The miatalink is a full replacement,stand-a-lone ECU. I don't believe it is capable of controlling a 5th injector. There was also a Link piggy-back ECU, which maybe capable of controlling the 5th injector. The Miatalink ECU requires high impedance injectors.

This could possibly be it.

aah, that looks like it. i didn't know link made the 5th injector controller, i'd always seen it referred to as the \"avo subcom\" or similar.

yeah bluey you really need to figure out exactly what ecu you have got, and exactly what it is doing, before you can go any further with any changes to injectors

I cannot 100% confirm that the AVO subcom is made by link, but the AVO part number is link****....which maybe a clue.
