WTD - Spare set 1.6 coilpacks to borrow for fault testing

Postby Uncle Arthur » Wed Dec 19, 2007 12:59 pm

Hi all - wondering if anyone in Brisbane (or anywhere) has a spare set of 1.6 coilpack I could borrow to do some fault finding?

Damn car still has the hiccups.

It's not leads - they've been replaced.

I checked the O2 sensor wire and replaced the sensor - in doing so pulled the old coils and fiddled, then put them back in - it seemed to behave for a few days, but the problem is back.

Borrowing a set of coil packs to test if that's the issue would be appreciated, and then I can look to purchase if necessary (from somewhere).

PM me please if you can help.

You might be interested to know that I went through two crank angle sensors whilst running an aftermarket ECU.

Car had major hiccups when playing up until total failure. Only time I have ever had to get a tow.

Good Luck.
