NA6 Brakes + pads (normal? slotted? crossdrilled? both?)

Im not to sure where brake stuff goes so hopefully ive got the right section.
Im soon due for my brakes to be redone. One of my front disks has a nice grove carved out due to a rock or something under the pad so ill be needing new front disks. They're beyond grinding them flat. Ive got a couple of questions before i jump into this one.
Im not looking at upgrading to NB brakes just yet due to a lack of the folding stuff.
1) Are there any noticable advantages to having NA6 sized slotted or crossdrilled (or both) rotors over the standard rotors? If yes, any recommendations as to which rotors i should go for?
2) Im going to be needing new pads all round. I have incredibly white wheels and am after pads which are better than the standard pads while keeping dust levels to a minimum. At the moment, im cleaning my wheels every 2 days or so. (im not sure hwat pads ive got atm, they were there when i got it) Im after a pad which offers good breaking, minimal fade and low dust levels.
