I did them before for the fronts.
Not difficult, bit messy though! I did one side at a time, pumped the pedal until the caliper piston popped out, then unbolted the hose, etc and removed the caliper. Then gave it a bit of a scrub with brake cleaner and refitted everything with the new piston seal (glorified o-ring) and rubber bellows etc. If your brake hoses are old, then you may be surprised that new ones are only $25ea. So a good idea to replace them at the same time.
Easy job to do, but I think that you get a better result if the piston bore can be lightly honed out before reassembly. So in future I reckon what I'd do is unbolt the calipers, and just take them to a brake specialist for them to do the whole job.
