If you disconnect the wastegate actuator arm (so it doesn't boost) you should be able to drive it.
It will feel like it has a half blocked cat converter

If you don't drive it hard, you won't even need an exhaust (it stays quiet).

But recirculate your cabin air :lol:

Disconnect the flapper from the arm altogether.

It will still boost (not into significant positive pressure) but it will be safer than accidentally tipping into boost then bang.

I have done this.

Why not tow the car to the next shop?

when i did my avo kit, i just drove it very conservatively to the tuner. stayed below about 2500 rpm all the way, no problems. it just took me a while to get there :mrgreen:

Just drive it off boost. No need to worry about wastegates being connected or disconnected if you take it easy.

I bet it didnt take half as long to get home!!!

Unless you went the "shortway" thats what I ended up doing I think the drive went from around 50ks to nearly 200ks must have made a wrong turn somewhere
