arrr this happened to me.. forget going to the wreckers and finding a similar one out of another car.. i wasted half a day at pick n pinch... ring mania $10 bolt.. problem solved.. and yes it has a nut on the end

They shear off actually.
I went through 2 before going high tensile from a bolt supply shop.

No problems since.
