WTD - Belt Tensions

I have just bought a belt tension guage for setting the alternator and A/C belts on my NA6.
Looked at my enthusiasts manual and it suggests a tension of 'not more than 10mm deflection when push firmly with the thumb'. I am having some difficulty converting this into kg.f or lb.f.
Can anyone quote me the belt tensions for an NA6?
