Plumb back piping

Plumb back valve, surge valve, recirc valve etc etc. They have a few names but you know what im talking about.
Anyhow, presuming the valve is mounted just before the throttle body what material should be used for the piping from the valve back to the pre-turbo intake pipe??
How pressurised is the air coming back?? ie Do you need intercooler grade silicon piping or will something else do?? What have people used??

The piece of pipe does not have to be same grade as silicone hose
it can be usual sort of vacume hose approx 1 to 1.5 inched in diameter (inside)
it is only an exhaust port for the air to go to
just be carful where you plumb it back into as it could make more noise than you think
the closer to the turbo intake and further fromt he air filter the quieter it will be!
most auto shops would beable to supply vaccum hose of said size
if not vaccum hose small water hose will do fine
vaccum stuff just bends nicer!

I just replaced my Blitz VTA BOV with a turbo smart plumb back BOV. The BOV is mounted just prior to the intake manifold and the return pipe connects btween the air filter and the turbo intake pipe. Check what size your BOV out let is and see what pipe/hose you can find to match. My BOV was about 35mm and the turbo intake was about 38mm. It does not put out a lot of pressure. I found a nice bling blue hose at Clark Rubber that fitted my purposes perfectly. It has only been in a couple of weeks, and I have not dríven it much or far since...I guess only time will tell if it a lasting solution.
I have gone from the wooossshhh of the blitz to a almost stealthy murmur, which I can only hear with the roof up.

Thanks guys, thats great.
At the moment i dont have a BOV fitted (actually i do have a Turbosmart one sitting in a box but dont have any plans on fitting it) and i really want to get rid of that compressor surge sound.
Just another item to add to my list of jobs to do...

The BOV will remove that gobble gobble sound....
and I have done some research - it is a bad sound. Fitting my BOV properly removed it, and has removed the compressor surge...
Apparently anywhere over 4 psi and surge is bad, especially for small snails

When Daniel @ Mania did my intercooler piping, he was able to use a 1\" silicone radiator hose from an NA to make the final hook up:
