I have to get this out.
a few minutse ago I revieved the Original OEM panasonic Radio/cassete/CD player in the mail.
to say:\"I am absolutley tickeled pink.\" would be an understatement. I've been loocking for one of theses for at least 4 years. I just couln't let it go.

I know its not the type of thing the sound enthusiasts rave aboput but its not about that. The crappy CD palyer i have in there now only works on one speaker. Loocks totally out of place & was supposed to be original erquipment. But its not
This is the real deal. It loocks in good shape & i'm sure it works. If it doesn't I don't care at least it is the Original fits snuggly & is black.
Thanks heaps to the ebayer who resides on this forum, even reduced the postage handling when he realise he'd overquoted.
Thanks heaps mx5_boy. I'm a very happy camper.

Is this the unit with all the EQ settings and everything? I've always wondered what one of those would go like.

EQ = Equalizer. Let's you fiddle with bass/treble/mid etc settings. I have a vague recollection about reading about mazda bringing out some crazy (for the time it was released) sound system in MX5's that had EQ stuff on it. Is this the deck?

I understand totally Stan! I like the factory gear as it matches the interior trim and the buttons/controls are more logical and ergonomic than aftermarket stuff. I guess there are better options if you are after better sound quality however...
Are you going to Eastern Creek?

Are you sure? I would assume any EQ hardware/software would apply for any audio playing through the system?

yes it works through both
Here is the old

and here is the New

kinda makes the interior look really 2nd rate.

in serious need of some major cleaning.
