eBay for iridiums!
I got my leads from QLD ignition leeds. They are high performance 9mm leads and they did yellow. They have a template and could post a set to you if you want.

No the other way around, platinums last 80000k's the iridiums are a performance plug.

I'm still yet to find any magical spark plugs...
As long as you have the right temp and gap you sholdn't be having problems with the good old $3 NGKs.... And at $3 you buy a whole lot of plugs before you're up to the cost of any of the supposedly better ones.

What Sean said. The platinum ones are great for those stupid cars that need to be half disassembled to get to the plugs. A plug change in an MX5 is a 10min job. I'd rather buy the cheapies and replace them at regular intervals and pocket the change for other more worthwhile pursuits.

Yay,I was beginning to think everyone has been sucked in by these \"Magic Plugs\".
Standard NGK's are the way to go.

i run the bosch 4 prong jobbies, and it might have been placebo effect, but i think i noticed a little more mid range torque..

They are for oil burners, Only 1 will spark and when it fouls 1 of the others should take over.

They are popular amongst the guys in formula V racing too, I assume for similar reasons ie one fails the next takes over.

I did two back to back runs at a club dyno day a couple of years ago with old plugs and then the Bosch 4 prong ones and LOST 1 kw!!
I can't rember what the torque figs were and they may have given a better spread of torque or more torque but i was a bit miffed at the time as they weren't cheap!!!

Is 1kw really measurable? I mean heat soak could easily account for 1kw

It was 1.6 or something and it certainly wasn't an improvement!!!!!!!
However I withdraw this remark on the ground that it is technically inadmissable!!!
