It is the latest version of the Link ECU. The original LINK ECU is the basis of the Flyin Miata ECU, which uses the LINK hardware, with code developed by Flyin Miata.
Link have an adaptor that allows the new ECU to be plugged into the MX-5 wiring harness. See the link;

It would be interesting to see what the new ECU hardware/Code is like. Hopefully they have sorted out some of the code issues that they had with the original version. Mind you these issues caused Flyin Miata to write their own code for the ECU.
