help for T2 flange dimensions

Postby Sheck » Thu Apr 05, 2007 3:23 pm

Hey does anyone have a spare T2 flang gastket laying around that i can have/borrow. Or better yet scan it so it can print out in real size or at least measure up everything for me?

I need some measurements for a T2 to T3 adaptor i'm making and i dont want to pull off my turbo just for that (due to all the trouble it cause last tiem!!). I got the T3 flanged turbo sitting here so i've already traced that, just need to know where bolts would poke through on a T2 flange.

Thanks for any help!!
Dave

I have a spare exhaust housing you can use. I'll bring it when I pick up the other stuff next week, if that's not too late?

There is a run tomorrow morning. If you can get to the northside for the run, I'll bring it with. 8)

north side?!! hehehe nah thats cool i can wait a week, just woulda been easy if someone had measurements or a scan.
Hey if your not busy can you take the hole to hole measurements and post em up? I'll get a trace of the actuall flange next week, but for now a rough estimate of bolt clerances would be great!

Cheers mate!

local exhaust shop would be your friend here
or a car dealership parts department
you will need the gaskets maybe go to repco and see if they have any they might let you trace them!

yea i didnt want to bother buying the gaskets yet, just draw up a rough estimate, but yea i think i'll be better off buying the gaskets and going from there.
Dealerships are dodgy with pricing for gaskets, onc etime i payed $14 for a T2 flange and same place different guy serving i payed $32!!! crazy
i'll try repco soon.
Cheers!

Hey Boagsy, dont worry about the measurements, i was able to get some rough ones from my car with the turbo still on. Looks like it may work ok, just need to get the gaskets so i can get precise dimension.
I'll either have to make a two piece adaptor, or if there is enough clerance then i'll just make a one piece. - Looks like you got away with it so i'm keeping my hopes up!

Cheers!!
Dave
