Managed to get the SE on the dyno today after completion of the 3rd round of mods. I am very happy with the end result.

Do you find you get an extra kick of power @ 4 ~ 5000rpm + rpm still or did the O2 signal thingy fix it?

Chiptorque reckon they can get it outta mine but by the time I get down there again, there won't be no standard ECU in place to cause woe.... 8)

Since the application of the FM 02 clamp the hesitation at 4000 to 5000rpm followed by the 5000rpm surge has reduced. To get rid of it all together, a full "standalone" is required according to FM. I guess for $100 you cant expect too much....

What is an O2 clamp? Is it just a bit of electronic trickery you wire in?

Yes.

It is a pressure switch which senses the boost pressure in the intake manifold. Once the pressure becomes positive (boost instead of vac) it sends a signal to the stock ECU saying that the air/fuel ratio is a little lean. The stock ECU then adds more fuel to compensate for this lean condition and smooths out the transition onto boost. What happens without the O2 clamp is; the stock ecu notices the piggyback is making the mixture richer for boost. As the ECU only likes an a/f ratio of 14.7 when in closed loop, it pulls fuel (leaning out the mixture). The 2 are fighting each other basically, and the car bucks as it goes from rich to lean.

There are a few much cheaper versions of the same thing, I've heard the FM unit comes on a little soon making the car drink fuel and buck during highway cruising. Perhaps they have fixed this with newer models.

I have one with my setup (yet to be wired in).

Methinks you are trying to jusdge the accuracy of the readings by looking where torque and power cross in relation to the magic 5200 8)

Not always an accurate reflection of how accurate teh dyno is.

All my power runs have been in 4th gear, it would be impossible for the car to be spinning on the dyno @ 150km/hr and still be in first. At 149.4rwkw the car was at 6500rpm (rev limiter), the car felt like it had more, you can see at the tip of 149.4kw there is a drastic loss of power as opposed to the other runs (with less mods) where it curves off.

Remove the rev limiter may you ask? Im not game as the consensus is that there is not to much gain after that (duty cycle) without injectors and some sought of piggyback.
