LM didn't have anything to do with Boags' funny engine bay noises, but he is responsible for this :D......

He was not responsible (directly) for this - this is what happens when aftermarket 'bolt on' parts (like the NPower dump pipe) don't actially bolt up and need extensive modification.

First it needed to be cut just to get it to be able to bolt up to the turbo. Don't aske me how much trouble we had trying to get the bottom stud connected.

Next, I have to find a way to shift the water return pipe because the O2 sensor position is right in the way (and I'm not pulling the dumppipe back off after it took an hour to fit up.

That said - we got it to start this afternoon, and the oil is happily being pumped to the turbo, and it still runs..... :D

Even more hillarious if its true......especially if you were involved in this group buy.

This has been in planning stage for longer than I can remember. Like Mad Max \"A piece from here, and a piece from there\", and now look at the result.

This is so exciting to watch. I can't wait for a drive :mrgreen: , then again, perhaps I shouldn't go there.

I think its great. Not many people opt for the DIY turbo conversion these days with so many readily available kits. :lol: @ Stan and Fatty.

I like the air filter setup, good for a little bit more cold air still sucking from the cowl inside of covering it up again with the washer bottle.

Are you ditching your aircon?

And that looks like a bugger of a place to put the oil return!

Yes he is :D

No I'm not - getting it recharged in fact.

It wasn't as bad as it looked at first - when we found out how easy it was to modify the bracket it turned out that fitting was a cinch - I hooked the oil drain line this afternoon and turned it over - if some one can host it for me I'll put up the little video that Jen took of the 'official turning of the key'.

What are you gonna do to protect the water line and air filter from all that heat?
One track day and it'll be melted/on fire (i know about that fire thing first hand :lol: )

Otherwise it's all looking very neat indeed!! Good work mate!
