Yeah I had the original E-Boost and now have the new sleeper E-Boost 2.

Can't rate the turbosmart gear highly enough 8)

I've got the new turbosmart \"Ultra gate\" going on the car soon too - Can't wait! I actually got to go over to thier offices and factory and meet the guys - great bunch of blokes and top quality aussie made parts.

Sorry guys,

Just haven't had time to upload the pics...hopefully tonight!

Ken from Hyperdrive is set to dyno it on Tuesday next week. I bought the unit from them and he has his own dyno, and experience with the eBoost2's (he has a Silvia drift car with one fitted).

The intention is to raise the boost a little until it hits boost cut, or the A/F ratios become unacceptable...although from what I understand, it will definitely hit boost cut first...

At factory boost levels, it hits around 6.8PSI peak at the intake manifold...

Cheers!!

Hey guys...

I recently obtained a lovely SP... just wondering... any reason you went for the eBoost2 over an AVCR ?

Congrats! 8) Pics and details please... Probably best to start your own thread though.

No idea about boost controllers though, I'll leave that to those who know more about them.

I ended up installing a Blitz DSBC into my car and it's great. I have it set with three boost settings but there's room for 4. I've got it set up so that the turbo comes on much smoother now and it feels like boost starts to build up at lower revs. It's easy to turn it into an undrivable monster with the twist of a few knobs though. Changing boost settings from the drivers seat is really nice. It was very easy to install and set up. It's a povo model with very few of the features of the more expensive models but it does the job for me.
