Installed it myself, wasnt the easiest of jobs and having a missing olive (not the kalamata kind) that autometer didnt provide with the box, delayed final installation. Pretty happy with the end result. It reads 19-20 of vacuum @ idle and around 6-7 psi @ full boost, appears to be on parr with stock readings.

Part 4301, 2' 1/6

had you looked at others?

Yes, the autometer appeared to match the stock console the best.

It looks like you kept the original silver coloured air vent ring. If so thats what i want.

Yes, used the vent ring and the outer cage as a bracket, the fit was nice n sluggly no rattles yet.

Do you find your right hand to get in the way of viewing it whilst driving?

No, I dont have that issue

I hope to place it in the right centre vent

I contemplated that, but didnt choose it for a number of reasons.

Access from the centre console isnt as easy, as accessing the vent next to the drivers side. Kinking of the vacuum tube is a major consideration.

Air appears to blow more through the centre console vents, as opposed to the right drivers side vent. Not sure why, perhaps shorter distance from the condenser??? So i choose the lesser evil.

It looks more inconspicious where it is, compared to mounting in the right centre vent.
