ok guys heres a challenge for ya.. i need a party number for something ive never noticed on my car before.

Its at the rear of the engine head. its a rubber end cap that ripped a little.

it sits on a pipe at the rear of the head.

does it have a thread at all on the pipe? or is it pipe clamped?

if you are desperate find a bit of hose roughly the same size block one end, us a bolt don the tube and clamp it then clamp it onto the block

I cant say i've ever noticed the fitting and cant make it out from the pics clearly enough to jog the memory

but if it has a thread then chances are you can get something from a hose/fitting shop to block it
if it has no thread I can only assume it is pipe clamped on?
In which case the bolt in the pipe might get you out of trouble for wa while

good luck!

Out of curiosity...
Could one use that thread, to water cool a turbo?
