I have an electronic boost controller on my setup. I can raise the level of boost by changing the target boost pressure on my ECU. However this then means I need to ensure that the effected rows in my fuel and timing tables have been re-calibrated for the additional fuel and timing needs.

Do you have a piggy back or replacement ECU that will handle the additional fuel requirements?

Talk to Lou/Boyracer he might know. Last I talked to him he was playing with boost in his SE and seeing what the standard SE computer can take. He was replacing the standard computer though at that time.

just get a turbosmart or GFB manual boost controller. they go for like $60 and work a charm, ive had both and they both work great; the turbosmart is a bit easier as the GFB one needs an allen key to change the boost setting

. dont get the cheap ebay manual boost controllers. they tend to leak.

I've used the GFB, Turbosmart and $25 ebay ball and spring. Never had any problems with any of them. Turbosmart was the easist to adjust but I think the GFB looked the best.

All did the job, but they were all fiddly to get set up.

I use Turbosmart Eboost and Eboost 2 on my cars now and can't give them anything but praise. The 2 has more features, but I still prefer the original eboost for simplicity.

End of teh day if you want cheap and effective, the ebayones will certianly do the job.
When results speak for themselves - don't interrupt.
