Hey guys,
I've got DBA slotted rotors up front on my car and am just about to buy a new set of good brake pads. My rear brake rotors need replacing as well. Question I'm wanting to know; is it worth buying slotted for the rear as well or just buying standard OEM replacement rotors for the rear?
Thanks, Joel

I use Lucas TWA pads. They are dusty as hell, but brilliant on the road and quite good for about 5 laps on the track.
The Grand Prix Mazda race car runs them too.
Not sure about your rotors though. On the NA6 the rears don't really do as much as they should, so it might be a bit of a waste going slotted. It'd sure look good though!

Im running brembo slotted and x-drilled disks all round, the fronts do alot more work that the rears so it prolly not worth buy some for the rears. It just looks alot better having them all round, instead of just fronts..
I was using hawk hp plus pads for a week or soo, but got rid of them as they were way too dirty. Would take about 15min of normal driving to turn the wheels black..
Now i run bendix ultimates.

they fine for what i need them for, they dont really dust up alot, and they grip well. The hawks gripped better, but took a while to warm up, and when they did i would see clouds of dust waft infront of the car when i came to a stop..

But yeah ultimates are great, im very happy with them. I havent used them on the track or anything, just for day to day driving..

Thanks comet. Got priced $75 per rotor for OEM replacement ones. Or $140 per rotor for slotted from both Mania and Autobarn. So I have taken my business to the good people of Mania & have also ordered some Bendix Ultimates. Hopefully this will help the much needed stopping power for my car...the standard NA6 brakes are pathetic, so many times I've nearly fallen tragedy of rear enders in peak hour cause of the pathetic brakes
