didnt get a chance to post up before the dyno day.

but my CAI is now pretty much finished.

redone the box out of alloy checker plate, fixed or the piping together and painted it all up.

also replaced the elbow from the throttle body with some more dunny pipe
was using the standard elbo rotated 180deg shopped up and heated/molded around AFM.

so now.. it looks like this




cant really see the dunny pipe going from under the filter to the front bar.. basically 3\" pipe that follows the same rout as intercooler pipe.. sorta

and would i be correct in assuming that with such a short route for the air to take that throttle response would have also improved a gret deal??

Just having a bit of fun....perhaps go for some silver....or come to think of it gold would actually be good. The McLaren F1 has a gold leaf lined engine bay and so does Michael Schumachers seat in his F1 car so it must be good.
