will finish on road tuning and then put it on the Dyno

YES the FMIC is on teh shoping list

. but with 210 000km on the engine i thought I'd save for a rebuild

strong enough to take big boost and make Hella KW

Mine too has done over 200K but is running great.. im also starting to rebuild a new motor.. so should be even better..... these things are insanely addictive!!!
Id just like to send a big shout out to all those involved in developing the turbine wheel!!

Looking good.
What boost are you planning to run? Honestly, without an intercooler you'd want to be keeping the boost down and therefore intake temperatures low. How are you monitoring intake temperatures and detonation?
But, on the positive side - well done! Keep us posted.

Very tidy install, well done!
Can you tell if the manifold and dump pipe you used were off the shelf items or custom made?

The Manifold was Off Mania and the Dump pipe and all the other parts I
Custom made
It's running 7PSI and the injectors are just maxing out at 6800
so for the time being they will do
I have done 200km since last night

it just to much FUN

well done, it's like we are giving birth to little babies at the moment....turbo babies.
how much fun is it!!!!!!!!!
i looked at my dyno sheet and noticed i started to loose power around the 6700 rpm mark for what ever reason. so i dont really bother to rev it past 6500 since turbo. mine must need more BOOST i think.
waking up for work has never been so much fun......

well done turbo buddy

I know the Feeling I took the long way to work this morning (50km)
usally only 10km
it has been a long process but I have never had the car off the road for more than 4Hr's
I am very happy with the results. need to do a bit of finishing off the Air cleaner pipe is held on very
dodgy and is sucking in a heap of hot air from the Exhaust

Also the oil feed line is waving around in the breeze and the Air
Temp sensor is on the inlet to the turbo and it needs to be as close to the
T/Body as possiable. and then the cold air duct in the Headlight cover
For the time being will keep the Boost down to 7PSI this will keep the intake temps under control.
Talk to my dyno Guy and its booked in next friday for a tune (done by me just using his dyno) Hope there is 130 + Kw waiting to be recorded
