Ok, i need a new clutch with little fuss. i live in melbourne but i am prepaired to get one shipped/posted of it's worth it

i havent got it back from the dyno's yet but im sure anthony will get it moving nicley.
it's a greddy manifold with tdo4h turbo, stock psi, intercooled, LT8s....
im expecting it will run better than most with this setup (greddy) as the king will be tunning it.
So which clutch should i run guys?

I use the eXtreme branded 4 paddle. It's never given me a problem in my turbo car. A little heavier than stock and quite on/off style, but I have no issues driving it in city traffic.

Get youself an 1800 flywheel and use the \"xtreme\" 700kg pressure plate and then your choice of disc. im using a full face exedy one, but am wondering if i should have gone for a sprung 6 puck for a bit more bite. the 700kg plate is no heavier than stock pedal really... a grandma could drive it.

I'm running an \"Xtreme\" 4puck ceramic button clutch on my daily with the super heavy duty pressure plate (they fiddle with the heavy duty plate and move the pivot points to give it more clamping pressure) and that is lighter than my previous heavy duty Xtreme organic clutch. Yes it is on/off but it is really easy to modulate and you can get it to slip easily, you'll just get alot of shudder in the first few months of driving after which it quitens down.
I upgraded cause my old clutch couldnt hold the 13ish psi i was running, this one hasnt missed a beat - well worth the upgrade!

Like this one? I agree with everything Sheck has said about it, excpet for the slipping - I tend to get the shudder if i try to make it slip.

I have an Exedy Sports Tuff \"CUSHIONED BUTTON SPORTS CLUTCH\"

In my EA. Cost me $880 and is rated to 330rwkw (according to the guys I bought it from) - had to get a flywheel to suit as it's a 10.5\" clutch kit - so i've got a custom made steel flywheel with ring-gear to suit.
Nice clutch but a bit of a pain to drive considering the EA's still run a cable clutch...[/img]

Sean: Yep thats the one!!! I only get real bad shudder when i go in reverse (but it is only just 1000kms or so old) forward i do get shudder occasionally but i just put the clutch in and out to remedy this. ie engage dis-engage re-engage.
Glen73: i payed $462 for mine delivered to brissy from All brake and clutch in adelaide (go to Xtreme clutches website and it'll be the first supplier in the adelaide section) The non-modified pressure plate was about $60-100 less. But they said the modified one will be better for drift which is the main motorsport i do, and they got another 100-150kg of pressure out of it all without adding any extra foot pressure

1.6,
have you got around to those extractors yet!
