My 1990 NA6 (import) has a 'loose' shifter. I have seen this on a number of early Autos.
Has anyone been able to get a kit of bush's or is there another way to fix it so that it is tight again? Any idea on costs also appreciated.
I still works fine, but when I pull it back it's just not easy to get to the right spot.

sounds like the spring that holds pressure on the little doohickey that pokes in the slots for the gear selection is a bit weak from old age

Perhaps ask on the BIG forum
www.miata.netThere probably aren't a lot of auto owners here.
