Draining the box turret?

Postby maxwolfie » Sat Jun 17, 2006 1:21 pm

Is there a way/point? I have some leftover redline that I want to chuck in there, but it's half full of murky crap

You'd have to suck it out with a syringe or similar device. It doesn't hold much oil in there.

Or you could just suck it out with a length of tube, then let it dribble out to a icecream container below.

trick is to stick the tube in fluid first and fill the tube, then plug both ends with your thumbs, then quickly let go of one end and cram it into the fluids deepest point then you should be able to put the end with your thumb on it still into a container at a lower point. this way you dont have to worry about coppin a mouth full might take a go or two to get used to, but after getting a mouthful of who knows what from an industrial pump i was tryin to drain before i stripped it when i was a first year i quickly realised theres gotta be a better... tasting way  :P
