Jack up right hand side of car remove front wheel and then you can
get to it though the wheel arch
As for the lifter free do it about 500KM before you change the old
Being in the motor trade I can get some excelent liffter free but it is only avalable to the trade

No HLA noise at all and never had any and as for pressure, I should be fitting a gauge to it soon to check

When you take the oil filter off, doesn't it pour out everywhere?

I used to punch a hole in the filter but I stopped doing that once Tom explained that slightly loosening the oil filter for a few minutes is all that's needed. Loosen it just to the point that you break the vacuum seal and then tighten it back just a tiny bit to prevent oil from seeping out from under the filter o-ring. I do that as the first step and let it stay that way while I'm under the car draining the oil. By the time I've put the drain plug back in, the filter can be completely removed with very minimal additional drainage (all of which is caught in the Thompson base catch reservoir anyway). After that I soak up the little bit of remaining oil in the base with a few paper towels, put on the new filter and dump 4 quarts into the crankcase. DONE!

Isn't your car an NB though? No HLAs?
