clutch

lost clutch pressure, hard to select first... =(

** forum search indicates this is a failure of clutch slave cylinder?

Sound like your clutch slave has died
mania have a recon unit for $36 exchange
or a new on for $98

Same thing happened to my car, I just replaced the seals in the slave cylinder with a $10 kit from repco... 1 hr job. That's if it's the slave cylinder, which it usually is.

do u get a whistling/chirping sound that stops when u put ur foot on the clutch?


You need to lubricated the end of the little rod that comes out of the slave cylinder. Usually the end that pushes against the clutch lever, though sometimes the end that contacts the slave cylinder can squeak too.
