Whats a EBC and a pill?

I have a GFB PB BOV to and it's a nice bit of gear. much more substantial than the povo Bosch thing.

I've got a GFB pnumatic bleed kicking about in the the toolbox. Got it a while back in an impulse buy but have never fitted it - the SP has plenty of go as it is . Their stuff seems quite nicely made. I've went for a Forge BOV though as this is supposed to be a direct swap for the Bosch unit.

At the time I was thinking about fiting the bleed I then decided to go down the Jaycar EBC route instead. But then the boost curve of the SP doesn't really need one of these either - it's as flat as a pancake with no nasty spikes or dips. Anyone want a GFB bleed and an unbuilt Jaycar EBC and hand controller?

Nice work Boris - that's the beauty of turbo charging - you've realised some impressive power gains for what? less then $5 and an hour or so of work.

THE REAL BORIS wrote:Just thought that I would let you know that the following two mods. made 116.5 rwkW @ 6.1 to 6.3k for an otherwise stock SE.

Mod. 1 a GFB plumb-back blow off valve & mod. 2 a 4mm i/dia. hose to the EBC from the rubber elbow at the throttle body intake. The pill i/d has also been reduced to 1.5mm i/dia.

Torque has improved out of site below 4k (+30% at 2.2k) and power at peak rpm (6.7k) is now 20kW over stock. All Dyno-Dynamics.

Mod. 1 for the low end and mod. 2 for the top.

The GFB shuts off earlier and the pill allows 9 psig on a warm day.

TTFN.

Cool....bastard!
