Alternator Light on

Ok my Alternatot light is on. I have checked fuses ect and even checked the charge rate and I have 14.7 volts

so why the f##k is the ALT light on

. Any Ideas

Checked your belts

Took ALT toSparky he checked and it works fine
Put back on with new belt and the light is still on
checked with the sparky he has no Idea unless i leave it with him

14.7 volts sounds a little high. I thought they usually charge in the 13.5 to 14 volt range. Maybe your diode in the inst cluster is broken?

could it be linked to your recently installed autronic which i assume replaces the standard ecu?

Not an Autronic problem this is my other car I just got
And its not an cluster problem had a spare and swap them withe the same result
