seriously shouldn't.

those ppl that claim that magnets can ionies fuel for better combustion or even magnetically rearranging the air particles in the intake to increase power.. what the hell are they serious...?

just plug it in. it should do more good than bad.

The idea behind a magnetic sump plug is to attract and retain any metal filings that may end up in the sump. When you take it out at oil change time, you clean it and remove bits that really should not be in your sump.

Magnetise the oil - you must be joking

it's already in, did so on saturday with new Mobil 1 oil :) didn't smoke much on Sunday i hope?

did for the attracting metal bits thing (but i certainly don't want any metal bits stuck on it next oil change), didn't know bout this ionising fuel though...

what bout castrol magnatec though? a clump of oil never leaves the plug?? it'll cause the engine to seize cause the oil can't move?

Magnatec isn't magnetic, it's marketing...
