Revs question

Hi all,

Wondering if someone can answer this.

When I take off (cold start), each time I slow to a red light the revs drop to about 600rpm and the car does a little dance :P /shake, then reverts back to a nice idle. This only happens for the first 10mins from a cold start.

Any thoughts

PS, I just replaced the Plugs with Iridiums 3 months ago (they were my first thoughts for the origin of the prob.????)

Thanks In Advance

Have you tried resetting the base idle speed?

Is the idle-up occurring to make the car rev faster when it's dead cold?

My NA6 is opposite...after popping the clutch n coming to a stop it will idle at about 1500rpm for maybe 3 seconds then it will drop back down to 1000. Opposite of idle dip?

i've got this problem, but i am running a turbo and an rx7 afm, and from my dadt logings i can see that the afm shuts really quickly but there is still more air coming in ie the voltage from my map sensor tells me that there is more air than the afm is saying there is, so it could be the spring tension on the afm

OR

try adjusting the point at which the little shock absorber thing on the throttle body comes into contact with the screw on the throttle plate.
Its just to the left of the throttle, and it kinda looks like a fuel pressure regulator at the top, and on the bottom its got this black rubber boot thingy on it. (i adjusted this and it helped a little with my prob, but didnt fix it completely)
