W00t! Won a set of these just now.
I uh, won't tell you how much for.
Anyway - what do I need to fit these? New gasket, or does it just mate up to the old one?
Suppose I should check my O2 sensor before I start as well...
I'm supposed to be servicing for my brother in the rally on the weekend, so figured I'd chuck the Mazda up on the jacks while he's out on stage and get the job done.

I couldnt resist one of those cheap ebay sets of extractors either - have just received mine back from HPC coating - they do a great job!
But I noticed Pix, that the stud holes are much larger dia than the studs. Did you sleeve them or use larger washers or didnt you think either was necessary?
thanks

Well impatience got the better of me today, and I fitted these extractors. Reasonably impressed with the quality, and hell, for $110, you really can't complain.
Was going to get them ceramic coated, but figured I'd see how the underbonnet temps were before deciding. (Translation - impatient, and won't ever be bothered pulling them out to get them coated)
Easy job to fit - just waiting until tomorrow to extend the O2 sensor.
Amazingly, the car still idles without the O2 sensor or the airflow meter connected...

Extended the O2 sensor this morning.
Took it for an italian tune up, and there's a noticeable improvement up top without losing any bottom end torque. Pretty happy.
Once it gets above 6 grand, it just wants to keep revving. Hit the limiter a few times, which is something I don't normally do.
When I popped the bonnet to check things out, they've even turned a nice shade of blue and gold.
